Temara entered the entertainment industry with a bang, at the tender age of 4 years old she got her “Start Dancing” award at the prestigious ‘Westin Arts Academy’, she was soon labelled a triple threat as she pursued her dream to be an actor, dancer and model.  Temara – “I think what really inspired me to take entertainment seriously was when I won the “World Championship of Performing Arts” in Burbank ever since then I never looked back I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love”

After 3 years of nurturing and development Temara’s natural talents didn’t go un-noticed, at the age of 7 she was recruited onto the competitive dance teams in which she went on to learn hip-hop, tap, lyrical, breaking, ballet, modern, belly dance, musical theatre and jazz, Temara excelled and come first in several competitions for her hip-hop solos as well as duos, trios and group dances, she then went on to achieved scholarships for jazz and hip-hop for the well-known dance conventions JUMP and NUVO.  It doesn’t stop there, Temara also won her “Loveland’s Got Talent” and a spot in the “Orange Bowl” half time show with choreographer ‘Shane Sparks’ (You Got Served and America’s Best Dance Crew). Throughout her development as a dancer she has trained with top choreographers such as Mischa Gabriel, Tony Testa, Bobby Newberry, Mia Micheals, Shane Sparks and Dave Scott.

It wasn’t long before Temara established her name on the circuit, age 9 years old she landed a role as Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka singing “I Want It Now”, and won 1st place in the state competition, in which she took that same performance to Vegas in an International Competition and took home the Las Vegas “Best Character Vocal” award.  As an actress she has starred in several TV commercials, Disney features, films and TV shows, as well as starred in DVD’s for Sing & Play Christian music videos. You can also catch her in several print advertising campaigns for companies such as NFLshop.com, Junkfood Clothing, Edward Jones, Roper Western Wear, Family Fun, and HP Cameras.

Through years of development in acting, dance, singing and modelling Temara has come out the other side with a undeniable skill-set which has led her to be featured in the BYOU magazine as one of the hot Hollywood 9 teens to keep your eye on this year, as well as being tipped as the next “LA Teen Phenomenon” to WOW the world…

Temara has a natural passion for charity, she started her own organization in 2007 called “Little Wishes and Big Dreams”. She has since donated over $85,000 in monies as well as goods to children and animal charities all over the world. She is involved with UNICEF, Realities for Children, ASPCA, Greenpeace, Christian Children’s Fund, American Cancer Society, LA Mission as well as many others. One of the new charities she is involved in is called Dare to Care which is helping to end childhood hunger.

Temara has now turned her focus on launching herself as a singer songwriter and has co-written songs with award-winning writer’s and producers, Jonathan George, Stacy Jones and Mike Schmidt (Miley Cyrus Creative Team) and Cassadee Pope the Former lead singer of Hey Monday and the winner of The Voice 2012…

Her debut project was received in high regard and caused a massive buzz in the music scene, with cameos from Youtube star Christian Beadles, a fusion of upbeat electro pop and great songs really set an exciting precedence for Temara.  Her debut single “Pour It On Sweet” was nominated for a HMMA award in 2011 for “Best Pop Song” and debut EP “Main Attraction” was nominated for the Album Of The Year award at the LA Music Awards.

Temara’s set a solid foundation as a recording artist and has been developing and refining her sound for her first official International release of her new EP “Karma”, Temara – “I am really excited about the next phase in my career as the new EP really shows a progression from “Main Attraction” I feel lyrically and musically it’s a lot more mature, I want to show my love for fashion in the visuals as well, it’s going to be awesome”

Temara’s manager Dani Stephenson an accredited A&R Manager, Executive Producer/Songwriter of Straight Forward Music, 3M Music Group and Gameface Productions is renowned for his expertise in artist and brand development and taking artists to the next level, he has worked with many top artists like Don Diablo, Kalenna (FLUX from P Diddy’s Dirty Money) Big Sean, Alex Clare, Labrinth, Mann, Kendrick Lamar, Josh Kumra, Eric Will and has writing credits on the new Don Diablo ft Kelis & Alex Clare release “Give It All” which has been tipped to be a International smash record.  Dani has brought together an A-list  songwriting and production team to work on the new Temara Melek EP and Album, with the likes of Gameface, Don Diablo, Stacy Jones (Miley Cyrus), Grammy nominated Jonas Westling for his Work on Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster” Album and critically acclaimed Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Crystal Nicole better known for writing the Rihanna hit single “Only Girl (In The World) & Beyonce “I Am Sasha Fierce” Temara really has been nurtured through a pedigree of the very best in every area of entertainment, which has in affect created a “Teen Superstar” and to top it off Temara was awarded the highest honor on Beat100.com for Ultimate Musician 2013.
